offenders, or at risk of antisocial behaviour.

You Me Us We
Good Food Matters is a charity dedicated to supporting those facing change or challenge. The charity’s recipients may have a learning disability, they may experience lack of academic achievement or exclusion, they may be recipients of care – or young carers themselves, or they may be young parents, young homeless, ex-offenders, or at risk of antisocial behaviour.

Our intention for the design was to create areas where participants could experience the process of planting, harvesting and cooking produce within a purpose-designed Community Hub Teaching Kitchen.

Common Interests Exchange
A limited budget meant building close working relationships with a small, nimble contractor who shared our vision and helped us deliver the project on time and on budget.

There were significant build challenges on the steep site and additional challenges around achieving consent for planning on Greenbelt land.

Considerable skill was needed to manage the concerns and expectations of local stakeholders, but we built positive local relations and won the support of the community and planners through clear communication strategies and virtual modelling.

Good Food Matters is an extremely successful, award-winning scheme.
